Corporate Social Responsibility

Our company name, OneWorld, reflects our belief that we only have one planet earth and that we all live in the same world.  We must protect the natural environment and contribute to the society we all live in.  We run our business in as an environmentally friendly way as possible, and support a number of social and environmental organisations.

We work with MyClimate (The Climate Protection Partnership) to offset our unavoidable CO2-emissions, and make OneWorld Consulting a climate neutral company. This is achieved by financing valuable projects to promote the use of sustainable renewable energies and increase energy efficiency.

We chose to work with MyClimate because their projects satisfy strict project standards.  As well as reducing greenhouse gases, their projects must also make a demonstrably positive contribution to sustainable development and benefit local communities. MyClimate is one of the few offset providers to offer Gold Standard credits which are independently validated, adhere to best practice methodology and only support renewable energy or energy efficiency technologies (no tree planting or gas flaring). Most importantly the environmental achievements are additional which means they would not have happened as business as usual.  MyClimate supports projects worldwide, including a wind farm project in Turkey .
